Virat Kohli said he was raring to go difficult in South Africa and stated it wouldn’t be tricky to get back to professional cricket following a short break.

Kohli, and 11 hundreds in 2017, opted from this limited-overs series against Sri Lanka for wed to Anushka Sharma at a private service in Italy.

“I had been off for but return to professional cricket won’t be difficult at all. I had been training (through the break.) ,” Kohli advised the media hours before India’s departure for South Africa.

India depart for South Africa on overdue on Wednesday beginning. That’ll be followed closely by ODIs and three Internationals.

Kohli was in crimson form throughout the three-Test series against Sri Lanka, beating 610 runs including back-to-back double hundreds in Nagpur and Delhi as India won the series 1-0.

“Cricket is played with bat and ball and if you aren’t there emotionally, every condition appears like a house condition.

“You’ve got to adopt the local culture to be able to perform nicely. The excitement is extremely important to be able to perform well,” he said.

After Kohli’s wedding with Anushka on December 11, the couple hosted receptions at Delhi and Mumbai where many Bollywood and sporting celebrities joined in the celebrations. But now the focus would shift to cricket because India traveling to a land known for its fast and backpacks.
