2011 World junior surfing competition in Siargao Island
A huge number of participants, tourists and guests from around the world converged here on Friday for the start of the 2011 World Junior Surfing Competition.
While competitors officially started their action on Saturday, big number of tourists, both foreign and domestic and other guests also grasped the nature’s scenic beauty at various panoramic view in this paradise island of Mindanao.
The world junior surfing tilt will last up to Oct. 3, this year.
At least 31 surfers from Australia, 31 from Japan, 10 from U.S.A., Hawaii, Europe, Brazil, South America, Malaysia and Indonesia and 8 from various areas in the Philippines started their action on Saturday. Read more…
